Here We Go Again

I'd like to share a recent picture of my wife sporting the shirt that I bought her for Valentines day. I bought the shirt from my own site, but it is entirely relevant to my life and might explain why it's been so long since I've updated:

That's right. Here we are facing a FOURTH BABY. I'll be honest with all of y'all out there and let you know that this wasn't a plan of ours and was, in fact, much more a plan we were actively trying to avoid. We can spend all the time we want avoiding things, but sometimes the things find us and insist on our attention. I'd like to tell this little fetus, you have our attention.

If you're a long-time reader of this site, you probably know what this means concerning our relationship. It means post after post of what it is like to go through this pregnancy phenomena--this time with 3 kids--and what it is like fighting the constant pressure of the birthing industry.

So far, my wife has worn two of those shirts that she's wearing up there. It's a maternity shirt and those two that she has owned are the only ones that have been purchased. In celebration of this rather amazing event, I'm going to try and move more shirts from the Badass Dad store. I'm going to do it the only way I can, by removing all royalties. That's right. From now on all products in the Badass Store are sold at cost.

I hope that you'll all keep reading and experience this fourth pregnancy and birth along with us!

Congrats! I wish I had known about your store for our 5th and final pregnancy. I would have loved to have one of those shirts!

Wow, 4 kids. I don't envy you ;) Our two are quite enough. As always, congrats. As always, I recommend "The Natural Pregnancy Book" by Aviva Jill Romm and Ina May Gaskin's "Guide to Childbirth". "Prenatal Yoga and Natural Birth" by Jeannine Parvati Baker is another good one. So is "Active Birth" by Janet Balaskas. Let's face it, I have a mile long list of books I'd recommend. I really enjoy a great pregnancy/birth book! I wish you two a happy, healthy pregnancy and a blissful, empowering, peaceful birth. And a calm, sweet babymoon. :)

Blessings and Good vibes.
